Welcome to Cherry Hill!

Welcome to Cherry Hill: “You couldn’t pick a better place!”  Our community offers the best in suburban living with the cultural and commercial advantages of our world-class region.  This letter and link to our online welcome packet is designed to help acquaint you with Cherry Hill, its municipal services and opportunities for residents of all ages.

Cherry Hill provides a full range of top-quality municipal services: award-winning police protection, emergency medical services, a state-of-the-art public library, snow and leaf removal, trash and recycling collection, more than 1,000 acres of preserved natural open space and 60 beautiful parks and playgrounds.

Right here in town, you will find some of the area’s best shopping, dining, entertainment and recreational attractions.  Our comprehensive roster of Township activities includes world-class orchestra performances, Music Under the Stars outdoor concerts, art exhibits, Memorial Day ceremony, spirited festivals and much more.  The Township also owns and operates two historic farmstead sites: the Barclay Farmstead Museum and the Croft Farm Arts Center. Croft has become the home of three new exciting events as well – the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association’s Juneteenth Parade and Festival, the Independence Day 5k, and Illuminate- a seasonal holiday event and month-long light display.

Cherry Hill is a great place to learn, too. Our school district has long been recognized as one of the best in New Jersey.  With innovative academics and exceptional arts, athletics and extracurricular programs, we offer our students the brightest of futures. Visit CHCLC.org for more information about the school district.

We are so happy that you have chosen to call Cherry Hill ‘home.’ If you have any questions, please call the Mayor’s Office at (856) 488-7878. The full Welcome Packet is available to download by clicking: New Resident Welcome Packet (PDF).

Again, welcome to Cherry Hill, and I look forward to seeing you around town.
