Cherry Hill has long been a leader in municipal sustainability in New Jersey. A Sustainable Jersey Silver Certified community since 2010, Cherry Hill was among the first towns in the state to adopt its own municipal sustainability plan -- the Roadmap to Our Future (PDF) -- in May 2016. The Roadmap is a living, breathing document that can be updated to meet the needs of our community as it evolves and grows.

Cherry Hill Mayor Chuck Cahn is a member of the Climate Mayors Network, a consortium of elected leaders from across the United States that is committed to the principles of sustainability, and dedicated to reducing our communities' carbon footprint and creating a cleaner, healthier place for our families to live, learn, play and grow today, and for generations to come.
