Daily Lunch Program at the JCC
All community members ages 60+ are welcome to enjoy a lunch prepared prepared on site at the Katz Jewish Community Center (1301 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003). Meals are Kosher and served at 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, and no reservation is necessary. The lunch program, which is government subsidized, is supervised by Camden County and is also funded by grants from the TD Charitable Foundation and Virtua. For more information, please call 856-424-4444 x1260. A monthly menu is posted on the JCC website: https://katzjcc.org/meal-program/. Meals are a suggested contribution of $3 per day.
Farmers Market Program
Camden County is hosting a Farmers Market Program, which will provide produce vouchers to low-income seniors (age 60 or older) to be used for fruits, vegetables and herbs at Springdale Farms in Cherry Hill. If you are annual income does not exceed $22,459 if single, or $30,451 if married, you are eligible to receive five $5 vouchers per person. You may spend on voucher at a time or several together but there is no change given if the price is less than voucher(s) being used. Due to COVID-19, vouchers will be mailed to you. This is a change from prior years. You must contact Camden County Senior Services to request your vouchers. Call 856-858-3220 or 85-858-3884. Vouchers are valid through November.
