Thrive After 55 - Cherry Hill Senior Needs Assessment

“Thrive After 55”, a Cherry Hill Senior needs assessment, is part of an Age-Friendly Community Grant from the New Jersey Department of Human Services.  Following the completion of the Thrive After 55 assessment, an age-friendly action plan will be developed using the data from the study.  The entire process is expected to be completed by July 2026.

“Age-friendly” describes a global movement to make communities more welcoming and livable for people of all ages.  In May 2024, a New Jersey Age-Friendly Blueprint was issued  that outlines age-friendly strategies and best practices to improve New Jersey’s communities for older adults and enable people to remain in their homes and communities as they age.  The Age-Friendly Grants were created to help communities plan and create programs and services using the Age-Friendly Blueprint.

Cherry Hill Township has contracted with 18 Stones Strategy, a Cherry Hill based research company, to conduct the study.  All sources of information for the study remain confidential and are not shared with the final results.  The study will be conducting listening sessions with small groups of residents and then will formulate a larger survey which will be shared with the whole community with a combination of emails, direct mail, the township website, and flyers posted around town.

The survey is open to all Cherry Hill residents.  To take the survey, click on the flyer below:
