Join us for A Journey Through Jazz with the Bradford Hayes Jazz Quartet, hosted by the Cherry Hill Arts Board in honor of Black History Month, at the Croft Farm Arts Center on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. This event is supported by Susan Bass Levin & Harriet Bass.
Saxophonist and band leader Bradford Hayes, a Virginia native, has been a dynamic presence on the Northeastern jazz scene for decades, performing at iconic venues such as Birdland, Tavern on the Green, and the Beacon Theatre. His career includes collaboration with jazz legends Jimmy Heath, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Yusef Lateef, and Babatunde Olatunji - serving as Musical Director of Olatunji's Drums of Passion Band - and a historic performance at Yankee Stadium during Nelson Mandela's first U.S. visit. A dedicated music educator for 30 years in the Newark Public Schools, Hayes brings deep musical knowledge and passion to every performance.
