Facilities

Fire Station 5 is located at Route 38 and Church Road covering the north-western portion of Cherry Hill Township. Squrt 1351 and Ambulance 1395 respond from Station 5 protecting neighborhoods such as Cherry Hill Estates, Colwick, Woodland, Columbia Lakes, and Kenilworth along with  mid- to high-rise apartment buildings. Two area high schools and other secondary schools, places of worship, restaurants, shopping centers  strip stores, office buildings and manufacturing facilities are also covered by Station 5.

Fire Station 5 was originally built in 1926 by the Church Road Fire Company and the Church Road Civic Association. It was renovated in the 1950s to accommodate the larger responding apparatus needed to handle the exploding Cherry Hill population and the increase in emergency calls.
