Mayor Chuck Cahn and members of Township Council celebrated the grand opening of the new Cherry Valley Trails on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The two-trail system, cultivated over many months by Cherry Hill Environmental Board Chairman Lew Gorman and CHEB Trail Ambassador Mary Ellen Land, span 1/2-mile and 1/3-mile. A trail kiosk is located just inside Cherry Valley Park on Briar Lane.
Mayor Cahn, Council Vice President Sara Lipsett and Council members Brian Bauerle, Jim Bannar and Carole Roskoph were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting, joined by neighbors and members of the Cherry Valley/Peppermill Farms Civic Association.

Mayor Cahn and Council have been champions for open space preservation and enhancement throughout the Township, and our trail system is a prime example of the important role green space plays in our community.
