The Township has opened its three local cooling centers as a courtesy to residents in need of air conditioning and electricity in the wake of Tuesday’s storm:
• The Carman Tilelli Community Center, 820 Mercer St.
• The Cherry Hill Public Library, 1100 Kings Highway North, open until 9 p.m. The Library also has power to charge any cellular devices.
• Cherry Hill Mall, 2000 Route 38, open until 9:30 p.m.
PSE&G is working to restore power across Cherry Hill; however, some homes may remain without service through at least Thursday. The Township Office of Emergency Management advises residents who are still without power to remain in place, or seek shelter overnight with a nearby friend or relative, if possible.
For the latest information about your outage from PSE&G, text STAT to 47734, or call (800) 436-7734.
The Cherry Hill Police, Fire, EMS and Public Works Departments continue responding to calls for service and are working around-the-clock to clear trees and downed power lines from local roads.
Please continue to monitor the Township, Police and Fire social media pages for updated information as it becomes available.
• In case of emergency, call 9-1-1
• In non-emergency situations, please call the police non-emergency number at (856) 665-1200.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work to assess and clean up damage throughout the Township.
