The Township is in the process of updating its 2011 Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) to make it consistent with the 2018 Master Plan, reflect changes that have occurred over the past 13 years and establish goals and objectives for the next decade. A current plan is also a pre-requisite for NJDEP Green Acres funding opportunities.
The OSRP focuses on areas of preservation, active and passive recreation space, and health and wellness. During a series of public meetings and surveys last summer, the community provided essential guidance and input towards the development of priorities and goals of the new plan.
The draft OSRP is now available for review. It will be presented to the Cherry Hill Planning Board for adoption on February 3, 2025. Questions and comments about the plan can be directed to boardsecretary@chnj.gov.
