[ARCHIVED] Cherry Hill RISE Recovery Grant Program Update

The Township of Cherry Hill has been awarded a total of $11.36 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and its economic impact.

Township Council has approved that a portion of this funding is made available as recovery grants to community organizations, non-profits, and small businesses that have faced economic hardship resulting from or worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic. This grant program opened for application submissions on October 31, 2022.

The Township has made the following updates and clarifications to this program:

  • Grant program deadline has been extended to February 28th, 2023.
  • It is no longer a requirement that the small business owner be a resident of Cherry Hill.
  • Franchises may apply if they provide proof they are wholly independently owned and operated.
  • Edits, for clarification, to the small business eligibility and required documentation sections.

As a reminder, all pending applications in Zoom Grants that need further documentation should be finalized as soon as possible in order to expedite the eligibility review process.
