Jennifer Apell

Councilwoman Apell, a lifelong resident of Cherry Hill Township, grew up in the Brandywoods development and graduated from Cherry Hill West. 

As an active member in the community, Jennifer has volunteered for many different organizations and progressive causes, including women’s issues, homelessness, sensible gun control, immigration, and sustainability.  She has performed pro bono legal work and provided free legal advice to clients of South Jersey Legal Services and Jewish Children and Family Services. Prior to being elected to Council, Jennifer served on the Cherry Hill Zoning Board of Adjustment.  She also served as chair of the Burlington County Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for many years. 

Jennifer is an attorney concentrating in wills, estates and small business planning with the firm of Nachmias Morris & Alt, LLC. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained her law degree and a Masters in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law.

She and her husband Jeff have three children who all attended Cherry Hill Public Schools and participated in Cherry Hill Township sports and activities.
