WHEREAS it is the intention of the Mayor and Council of Cherry Hill Township to focus attention on noteworthy occasions and individuals; and
WHEREAS today, colleagues and friends have come together to honor and thank Dr. Maureen Reusche as she concludes her time as Superintendent of Cherry Hill Public Schools; and
WHEREAS Dr. Reusche joined the Cherry Hill School District as Assistant Superintendent in April 2007, and has served as the district’s Superintendent since June 2011; and
WHEREAS in the course of the last four years, Dr. Reusche has built and maintained strong partnerships with Mayor Cahn, the Township administration and community organizations such as Sustainable Cherry Hill, to the benefit of the district’s 11,400 students and our community as a whole; and
WHEREAS under Dr. Reusche’s leadership, the Cherry Hill School District has become home to some of the state’s most talented, experienced and caring administrators and educators, and has evolved into a leader in sustainability, developing one of the first school Sustainability Plans in the state; and
WHEREAS for these reasons and many more, the Township of Cherry Hill is proud to recognize Dr. Reusche’s contributions to the Cherry Hill School District and community at large, and to wish her continued success in her new position.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CHUCK CAHN, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, do hereby wish to honor and thank
