The Cherry Hill Department of Engineering is set to begin work on two roads in the Erlton South section of the Township on Thursday, March 20, as part of the 2013 Road Maintenance Program.
Crews will be completing concrete repairs and road resurfacing on Cooper Avenue from Jefferson Avenue to Park Drive, and on Harding Avenue, from Route 70 to Park Drive. All work is weather-permitting. Both roads will be closed to through traffic during work hours, with local access only.
An important note regarding trash and recycling collection:
To ensure road closures do not delay trash or recycling collection, trash on both Cooper and Harding will be picked up by 7:30 a.m. on their regularly scheduled trash day until work is complete. We ask that residents place all cans at the curb the night before collection to avoid missed pick-ups.
Several other roads in Erlton South are scheduled for repaving later this spring as part of the Township's Road Maintenance Program. The same trash-schedule changes will be implemented on those roads during construction. Affected homeowners will be notified of the change prior to the start of any road work.
Questions or concerns may be directed to the Engineering Department at (856) 424-3203.
