Cherry Hill Township now offers paperless billing for all residential and commercial Township sewer bills, giving property owners the option of replacing traditional paper bills with an e-mail notice.
This new service is the latest effort by Mayor Chuck Cahn to streamline government services and make them more convenient for Cherry Hill residents. In addition to making the information easier for residents to access, the switch to paperless billing will reduce costs associated with printing and mailing sewer bills three times a year.
To sign up, users must include their name, property location, and sewer account number, along with a valid e-mail address. Users have three ways to register:
• E-mail information to ebills@chtownship.com
• Fax it to (856) 661-4779, attn: Tax Collector
• Mail to Tax Collector’s Office, 820 Mercer St., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
Please remember to update the Tax Collector’s Office with any changes to your e-mail address, to ensure bills are delivered without interruption.
Paperless billing is available now, but will not take effect until 2015 for residential sewer bills, which are issued annually and have already been mailed for 2014.
Residential sewer rent is billed annually as a flat fee, and is due on April 1. Commercial sewer is billed semi-annually based on water usage, with due dates of May 1 and November 1. Commercial account holders must subscribe by April 1 in order to receive an electronic bill for May.
Property owners who sign up for this service will no longer receive a paper bill via regular mail.
Property owners can view their tax and sewer account information and pay their bills online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by clicking here.
