BRACE ROAD continues to have a LANE SHIFT between Borton Mill Rd and Pearl Croft Rd, 24 hrs per day Monday – Friday for an additional one to two weeks.
- This work is being done by PSE&G for emergency gas line repairs, and will continue through Friday 3/22 with extension probable into the week of 3/25-29. Two-way traffic will be maintained the entire time, although the lanes are reduced in width and both lanes are occupying the southbound half of the road. This is creating congestion and delays- please seek an alternate route between Rt 70 and areas to the south. The road will be back to normal traffic patterns over each weekend, resuming with the work zone put in place each Monday morning at 7am and lasting through each Friday afternoon around 5pm.
HADDONFIELD-BERLIN ROAD (Route 561) will be down to ONE LANE IN EACH DIRECTION at Valleybrook Road/Chandler Terrace, between 9am and 3:30pm on Tuesday 3/19/19.
- This is for repairs to the traffic signal at the intersection; two-way traffic will be maintained at all times however both lanes will be occupying the northbound half of the roadway, similar to the way the PSE&G work occurred several months ago. This is scheduled to be a one-day event. Traffic is normally congested in this area, so the work will create additional congestion and delays. Please seek an alternate route around the area.
SHORT HILLS PARKING RESTRICTIONS- There will be temporary one-day parking restrictions placed in and around the Short Hills development for the 24-hour period of Sunday 03/17/2019.
- Restrictions will go into effect midnight Saturday into Sunday, and will remain in effect through midnight Sunday night. This is an annual restriction in response to repeated overcrowding at the shopping center due to festive holiday traffic. Streets and intersections must be kept clear so two-way traffic and emergency vehicles have unrestricted access throughout the neighborhood. There will be NO PARKING along either side of the majority of Short Hills Drive, with the exception of a small section located between Evesham Road and Bridle Court where open parking will be allowed. No Parking signs will be posted along all restricted areas, and tickets will be issued to ALL VEHICLES found in violation. (Parking map attached)
***The posted No Parking areas are all Tow-Away Zones, meaning vehicles may be removed by police if posing a hazard to passing traffic or pedestrians.***
