Harvest Festival
The Cherry Hill Township Harvest Festival is Sunday, October 21 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Croft Farm complex off Borton Mill Road. This event draws very large crowds every year, and as a result the areas of Brace Road & Borton Mill Road and Park Blvd & Caldwell Road become extremely congested with extensive traffic delays.
- If not attending the event, please try to avoid this area if at all possible, and plan alternate routes for travelling between Rt 561 and Rt 70 other than using Brace Road.
- If attending the event, be aware that parking becomes limited as the day progresses and the parking lots fill up quickly. Parking is available on many local streets, but please look for posted No Parking zones in the areas around Croft Farm / Challenge Grove Park; violations will be ticketed, and vehicles may be towed if posing a safety hazard. Please refrain from parking on private property that is designated for resident or patron use (restaurants, apartments/condos, open businesses, etc.); many of these locations have contracts with tow services and will remove improperly-parked vehicles.
Cherry Hill High School West Soccer Tournament
There will be a soccer tournament taking place at the Cherry Hill High School West fields on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. each day. This will bring a large amount of traffic into the Locustwood neighborhood and the areas surrounding the high school, causing congestion and delays on local streets including Chapel Avenue. Temporary No Parking signs are being posted along certain portions of one side the following streets: Fulton Street, Murray Ave, Martin Ave, and Weld Ave. Violations will be ticketed and those posing safety hazards may be towed.
Barclay Farmstead Event
As part of Camden County’s History Week, the “Day in the Life: Quaker’s Life 1816” series will be held at the Barclay Farmstead on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. This will bring additional traffic into the Barclay Farms neighborhood, and as a result there will be temporary No Parking posted along one side of Yardley Road and Barclay Lane, and along both sides of Southview Drive and Dickens Court. Again, violations will be ticketed and vehicles causing safety hazards may be towed away.
Grove Street Roadwork
Grove Street at Park Blvd will once again be subject to a one-way detour, 24 hours a day starting Monday morning, October 22 and lasting approximately two to three weeks. Northbound Grove Street, from Haddonfield into Cherry Hill, will be closed at the Cooper River bridge, for bridge repairs. Southbound Grove Street will remain open from Cherry Hill into Haddonfield during the work periods. The northbound detour will be set in Haddonfield, putting traffic onto Kings Highway to Park Blvd back to Grove Street.
