Cherry Hill Township to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies at Newly Designed Neighborhood Parks
[Cherry Hill, NJ] — Mayor Cahn and Township Council will join members of the community at ribbon cutting ceremonies to celebrate the grand opening of four local community parks – Jeremy Kane Playground, Woodland Park, Gregory Dalessio Park, and Ashland Playground.
Each of these playgrounds received substantial renovations, including the removal and replacement of playground equipment and upgrades to the surrounding park area. Each playground has its own theme, which will be revealed at the ribbon cutting ceremonies. The Township designed the new play areas with safety, accessibility, and inclusiveness in mind.
The Jeremy Kane playground and the Gregory Dalessio playground, both of which are named after Cherry Hill residents who lost their lives in the line of duty, will also receive special rededications honoring the brave servicemen who will forever remain close to our hearts.
“Township Council and I are thrilled to unveil these improvements to our parks and playgrounds,” said Mayor Chuck Cahn. “We work hard every day to ensure that we provide places within our community where residents and families can come together and enjoy fresh air and outdoor recreation. Our hope is that residents from all over town will make visits to each of these playgrounds, and enjoy the different themes and unique play opportunities that they provide.”
Mayor Cahn, Township Council and local community members will participate in the ribbon cutting ceremonies to officially unveil the new themes and reopen the renovated parks to the public. All members of the community are welcome to join.
