On Sunday, April 22 between 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., there will be temporarily road closures for the JCC's Israel-70 celebration parade. The parade which will take 30 to 45 minutes will include several hundred people walking from Cherry Hill High School East to the JCC parking lot. As a result, the Cherry Hill Police Department will have 4 secondary employment officers assigned for traffic control to temporarily close Kresson Road between Cropwell Road & Springdale Road.
Local residents will still have access by notifying the officers on post that they need to get in to their homes, which will have to be done through Cropwell Road with the exception of Vanessa Court. Vanessa Court will have access in and out by using Springdale Road. The detour route for all other traffic will be Springdale Road south to Evesham Road east to Cropwell Road north back to Kresson Road, or the reverse route for traffic coming from the Voorhees direction.
Vanessa Court access will be via cones set up just for them which go around the parade lines. Oakley Drive, Cooper Run Drive, Saddlebrook Court, En Provence Drive, and the Country Walk development will all need to use Cropwell Road to get in and out. St Mary’s traffic will have to use the Springdale Road driveway for that hour. The officer at the Oakley Drive light will turn around anyone who makes it that far and will send them back out to Cropwell. Please view the map for clarification of the traffic posts and the parade route. This will only be for an hour tops, so the impact will not be huge.
