Beginning Monday 4/9, Morris Drive will be CLOSED IN ONE DIRECTION between Springdale Road and Knights Place for approximately three days from 7 am through 5 pm daily, for NJ American Water company work. Morris Drive will be open for traffic coming in from Springdale, but traffic headed out of the neighborhood will be detoured onto Heartwood Drive to Lark Lane back out to Springdale.
Beginning on or around Thursday 4/12, Morris Drive will have smaller half-lane closures with alternating traffic moving in both directions controlled by police, from 7 am through 5pm daily.
Toward the end of this project, the work will move out into the intersection and Springdale Road will be closed in one direction at a time between Evesham Rd and Kresson Rd from 6 pm to 6 am each night for three to four nights. Further notice will be provided ahead of that closure which will involve detours onto Evesham Road and Kresson Road.
Route 70 will have ONE LANE or TWO LANES closed eastbound between South Cornell Ave and Sayer Ave for approximately one week while PSE&G makes underground repairs. This will be a 24/7 lane closure from Monday 4/9 through Friday 4/13 but possibly longer, until repairs are complete. There will be at least one lane closed during the entire process, with a second lane being closed periodically as work requires. At least one eastbound lane will remain open at all times.
Springdale Road will have ONE LANE CLOSED southbound between Evesham Road and Morris Drive on Tuesday 4/10, between 8 am and 2 pm for underground Verizon work. Two-way traffic will remain in effect the entire time, however this one-lane closure will add to normal congestion. Please seek alternate routes through this area during the daytime Tuesday 4/10.
