Please Note:

Your tax return will be prepared following the IRS and AARP Tax-Aide requirements for the IN-PERSON Services Model this year. Once you make an appointment, you will be contacted with either a phone call or an email letting you know how you will receive a packet of documents that needs to be completed.  Prior to arriving at the site for your scheduled appointment, please read and complete the packet of materials that either you picked up or that was emailed to you.  For scheduling purposes, please try to have all of the documents completely filled out before you arrive at the site.  If the documents are not completed beforehand, it will have a negative impact on the flow of fellow taxpayers.  If for any reason you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance, if possible.

On the day of your appointment, please arrive no more than then 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.  Upon arrival a Tax-Aide volunteer will review your documents and conduct a short interview with you based on the documents you provide. You will then be present while your tax return is being completed.  While you wait, your tax return will be prepared and checked for accuracy.  You may be asked additional questions during this process.  When the return is complete you will meet with a different Tax-Aide volunteer to review the return and sign the electronic filing consent form.  Please plan on being at the site for at least an hour or more.

Some Tax-Aide volunteers may wear a mask and/or conduct the whole process behind a protective screen.
